Going Well?

Not going well.

I installed Ubuntu, everything went fine. Until I got to the Partitioner. And then it gave me an error, and so I did it manually.

Another error. So I load it again. In the partition, there's no Windows, just sda1 and Ubuntu. But! A friend that's a huge Linux fan says it's OK. But then...

I search for crap on Windows. And it's not there. Surely I've made a mistake? I restart.

GRUB booting...hit ESC to enter the menu

Ubuntu 8.04.1

No Windows.

Which means my 7 gigs of music is gone.

While I am furious with myself, I do have the CD's and crap.

But, I wish it could be easier.

I think I may scream myself to sleep this morning.
